Auto-generates supports whose tips touch the model with 4Γ less contact area, so they snap off clean and leave almost no scar. Loads .3mf/.stl, exports .3mf + .stl.
Drag-and-drop viewer for STL, 3MF, OBJ, PLY, glTF with slicer-style mouse (left orbit, middle-drag pan, wheel zoom). Plus lightweight editing: push/pull a face, detach a part at its narrowest neck, and a surface-relative ruler.
Open 3D Browser βThe pain with supports isn't building them β it's removing them without gouging the print. Contact strength scales with contact area, so shrinking each tip's footprint makes the whole support peel away with a fingernail.
Every down-facing face steeper than the overhang threshold (45Β° by default) is flagged.
Points are spread on a grid and ray-cast straight down to land on the model or the plate.
Each pillar tapers from a wide, stable base to a slim contact tip β Β½ the diameter β ΒΌ the area.
Model + supports are written back to a printable .3mf (or .stl) you drop into any slicer.
.3mf.M): click a flat surface β the view rotates head-on and a surface-aligned 3-axis gizmo appears; drag an axis to push/pull. Two modes (β¬ button): the face's vertices move and the attached faces stretch to follow β it never adds triangles, so the mesh topology (and its manifold-ness) is preserved by construction. On release the move auto-cleans and warns if it left a wall thinner than 0.4 mm. Refine the selection with Ctrl+drag (add) / Shift+drag (remove) a rectangle β it snaps to strong edges, and stops snapping if you keep moving off one. Press F to flatten + patch + simplify the selected surface β snaps its vertices to a perfect plane, welds hair-line gaps shut, and re-triangulates it with the fewest triangles (a rectangle drawn with 10 tris becomes 2), so a slightly-wavy or cracked face becomes clean, watertight and minimalO): click a part β a standalone or weakly-attached blob is found by connectivity and chopped at its narrowest cross-section, then dragged off, copied/cut/pasted, or deletedE): click a feature edge (a crease or open outline β flat-face diagonals are ignored) to show draggable handles at its real vertices β the two ends plus any mid-points where it's subdivided. Drag a handle to move that vertex; it snaps to nearby vertices (and disengages if you keep fighting it), then auto-cleans zero-thickness/degenerate faces on releaseT or β button): make the model semi-transparent to see and edit inner wallsR): pick shape β rectangle / β― circle and recess (CUT) or protrude (ADD), then drag it on a surface. In ADD mode you then pull up to set the depth β move the mouse (or type an exact mm) and click/Enter to build a new 3D box on the surface. A CUT now only punches through the wall under the cursor, not the wall behind it. Corners snap to nearby vertices (with auto-backoff)Ctrl+I) makes the negative (block minus shape); Chop (Ctrl+O) is interactive β pick the X/Y/Z plane, type its position, hover the half to keep, Enter for a flush cutDel in Move mode) or object; Save the edited mesh as .3mf / .stlK): click a start surface then an end point; the X/Y/Z axes align to that surface and the cursor snaps to the nearest axis (or goes free off-axis). Rulers are selectable and deletableβ/Ctrl+Z, β§Z) and copy / cut / paste / duplicate objects (β/Ctrl+C/X/V/D).3mf (or .gcode) has no mesh; remembers your last file and reopens it next visit2x2_ver1.3mf preloads automatically.
